The Luxe Project was started by mother-daughter duo Chutisa and Sharidan Bowman after falling in love with the handcrafted textiles of Northern Thailand’s hill tribes. Originally from Thailand herself, Chutisa and Sharidan (half thai) have always had an affinity and connection with Chiang Mai and the talented women who painstakingly hand embroider every textile used.
With significant personal ties to the culture and people of Thailand, The Luxe Project is a label based on the admiration of incredible artisans and craftspeople as well as a desire to reinvest and contribute to a country that has given them so much.
The Luxe Project is commited to sourcing products from sustainable avenues whilst respecting local, cultural and artistic customs. As part of their business process, The Luxe Project considers the interests of everyone who is affected by their business decisions. The Luxe Project is mindful of the social, economic, health/safety conditions and environmental well-being of all producers involved.
